Start with what you need today

Most customers start with one of these. Both are straightforward to book, and both come with the paperwork you need for your records.

Electrical safety

PAT testing and electrical safety

Inspection and testing of portable electrical equipment, with a testing frequency recommended for your equipment and how it’s used, rather than a blanket annual rule.

  • Labels, certification and paperwork
  • Replacement fuses and minor plug rewires
  • Retests for failed items
  • Results in paper and electronic format

Fire safety

Fire extinguisher servicing

Servicing to BS 5306 by a competent engineer, including a check that each extinguisher is the right type, in the right place, for the risks on your premises.

  • Service of every extinguisher on site
  • Refills and replacements kitemarked to BS EN 3
  • Certification for your compliance records
  • A reminder before your next service is due

Fewer contractors. One schedule.

Most premises need fire, electrical and water hygiene checks on different cycles. When each one comes from a different firm, the certificates end up in different places and due dates get missed. Bringing them together is simpler to run and easier to evidence.

Fewer contractors to manage

One contact for fire, electrical and water hygiene compliance instead of 3 or 4 separate firms.

Coordinated visits

Where it works operationally, checks are combined into fewer attendances, so your site is disrupted less often.

Clear certification

Certificates and reports for each service, organised by site and available in your online account, ready when an inspector, insurer or auditor asks.

Reminders before things fall due

Service dates are recorded and you’re emailed before they lapse, with a link to book the next visit.

Advice based on the actual risk

Recommendations explain what the guidance says and why it applies to your premises. You decide what to act on.

For facilities managers and multi-site portfolios

If you look after several buildings — as a facilities manager, managing agent, landlord, school business manager or care group — the hard part isn’t booking a test. It’s knowing what’s due, where, and having the evidence to hand.

  • A record for every site

Services, due dates, certificates and reports held against each property.

  • Your records online

Sign in to see each site’s due dates and download its certificates and reports, whenever you need them.

  • Visits planned by area

Sites grouped by location across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to reduce travel and disruption.

  • One schedule across the portfolio

See what’s due next month, not just what was done last year.

  • Consistent reporting

The same format for every site, so reviews and audits take less time.

  • One contact

For questions, access arrangements and any remedial work.

How we support you over time

Most relationships start with a single job. This is what happens after it.

  1. Initial enquiry

Tell us what you need, where, and roughly how much. A photo of a service label or an existing certificate helps us quote accurately.

  2. Site assessment and testing

We attend at a time agreed with you and carry out the work you booked.

  3. Work and certification

You receive certificates and reports for the work completed, for your compliance records, and they’re kept in your online account.

  4. Recommendations

If we notice another requirement, we tell you what we saw, what the relevant guidance says and how urgent it is. There’s no pressure to decide on the day.

  5. Reminders

Your due dates are recorded and you’re emailed before each service falls due.

  6. Recurring compliance support

Over time, your checks can move onto one schedule with one contact, at the pace that suits you.

We don’t use scare tactics. If something isn’t required for your premises, we’ll say so.

Common questions

What facilities managers, landlords and business owners in East Anglia ask us most.

Do we have to move all our compliance work to you?

No. Most customers start with one service, usually PAT testing or extinguisher servicing. If we notice something else that applies to your premises, we’ll explain why and leave the decision with you.

How often do fire extinguishers need servicing?

Fire safety law requires the responsible person to put in place and maintain appropriate fire safety measures. The recognised code of practice, BS 5306-3, recommends an annual service by a competent person. Some extinguisher types also need an extended service at longer intervals — we’ll tell you which of yours are due and when.

Is PAT testing a legal requirement every year?

No. The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 require electrical equipment that could cause injury to be maintained in a safe condition, but HSE is clear that they don’t specify how often it must be tested. The right interval depends on the type of equipment and where it’s used: a power tool on a building site needs checking more often than a lamp in a hotel bedroom.

Who is responsible for fire safety in our building?

The “responsible person”. GOV.UK lists the employer, owner, landlord, occupier or anyone else with control of the premises, and names facilities managers, building managers and managing agents as examples. Where there’s more than one responsible person, you have to work together.

Does our fire risk assessment need to be written down?

Yes. The responsible person must carry out and regularly review a fire risk assessment, and keep a written record of it. If you don’t have the time or expertise, you can appoint a competent person to help.

How often should a legionella risk assessment be reviewed?

HSE guidance says it should be reviewed regularly, and particularly whenever there’s reason to suspect it’s no longer valid — for example after changes to the water system or to how the building is used. There isn’t one fixed interval that applies to every site.

How often should emergency lighting be tested?

The code of practice, BS 5266-1, recommends a short functional test every month and a full-duration test once a year, with results recorded. Monthly checks can usually be done by your own staff; the annual test should be carried out by a competent person.

Can you manage compliance across several sites?

Yes. Due dates, certificates and reports are held for each site, and visits are planned by area across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Tell us how many sites you have and where they are.

Can we see our certificates online?

Yes. Each customer can have an online account showing their sites, what’s due and when, and the certificates and reports from each visit, ready to download. You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so there’s no password to remember.

Which areas do you cover?

Our engineers cover the NR, IP, PE and CB postcode areas from our head office in Great Yarmouth, including Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge, Peterborough, King’s Lynn, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft.
