On new builds and refurbishments, fire stopping is easiest to get right while services are going in and before ceilings and boxing close it off. It also needs coordinating with every trade that makes a hole in a fire-resisting wall or floor.
- Penetrations sealed as services are installed, in step with the programme.
- Products chosen to match the wall or floor and the services passing through it.
- Intumescent coatings on structural steel.
- Fire extinguishers and PAT testing for site cabins and welfare units, if you need them.
